  1. Because tap is mainly for recreational use only, I suggest starting again. There is the difference between a pre-professional program and a recreational program, and it all depends on what path you want to take. Jazz and ballet can be in both, but are much more worthwhile in the pre-professional program. However, pre-professional programs rarely let older students without experience join (I know from experience). Good luck!

  2. its never too late to start dancing. EVER.

15 is a good age to start ballet. it gives you drive to keep up and reach the levels of others your age, but you still have a lot of potential you can harness. at 15, you can still become more and more flexible pretty easily.

and it might also be easier and faster to tackle movements. kids have to keep relearning how to do great pirouettes because they keep growing every few weeks. their center/core is constantly changing. at 15, most girls have slowed down a bit in their growth spurts and can harness their center more easily.

no worries. its NEVER too late to start dancing, ESPECIALLY at the young age of 15.

  3. Of course it's not too late. It's never too late to begin any kind of physical exercise as long as you are able.

  4. I don't think it's too late. You're still young enough and have a background in dance that your body is still flexible and nimble. If it doesn't work out, who cares, you're doing it because you think it might be fun, so go for it.

  5. I don't think its too late =D if u really wanna do it then follow ur heart and do it! =D

  6. ballet takes a lot of hard work time and money and if you think you won't be wasting those then you can try but it  probably is to late =^..^=

  7. Its never too late to do anything. I'm 16 and I'm going to start lyrical soon. I've only done tap for about 9 months and martial arts for about 10 years. I'm clearly not an expert when it comes to dance but why should your age stop you from doing anything?

Good luck, hope you start ballet =]

  8. it is NEVER too late! I'm 13 and I have never ever took dance classes! and I'm going to do ballet tap and jazz. your a bit oler than me but your young! if you want to be pro still yout young! some pros today started at my age and even at your age or at 16!

    don't give up.

    dance is life

    xx.

    good luck!

  9. In my book its never to late. I'm fifteen also and i only do jazz/hip hop/ and lyrical. I just took a couple of ballet classes, Honestly iots not that fun but if you are trying to go far as a dancer than you will need it. Because for most types of dance auditions you will go to in the future, the first thing they will ask you to do is ballet.
