Question:

Is it too much to ask for a decent British summer?

OK, so we had a few weeks of half-decent weather, with one week of very warm weather. And now... it's raining, cold miserable and totally sh*t. Is anyone else completely SICK of the rubbish British climate?

This isn't just a rant, my dad emigrated to Greece in 2005 and never looked back. He has a year-round tan, living costs are a lot cheaper, there's less crime and violence, and it rains about once a month. On Xmas Day, he was sat outside on his veranda wearing a pair of shorts and nothing else!

I am seriously considering emigrating because I am so fed up of this unpredictable, downright rubbish climate. I want one of those seriously long, hot summers. Or one of those dangerously hot heatwaves, like we saw in 2003. I think I was the only person who WASN'T moaning that it was too hot...it suited me just fine!

Does anyone else who is unfortunate enough to live in Britain also feel like this? Is it any wonder so many of us move abroad every year!
