Is it too soon to do a hpt??

Question

We have been TTC and I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms (No need to go ino them all), but I am not due for 5 or 6 more days. I know there are tests out there that claim they can tell 5 days before your missed period.

Has anyone actually used one 5 days beforehand and gotten a positive?

If I am having all these symptoms does that mean there is enough hcg in my system for it to show up on a test?

OK u should really try 2 wait til like 2 r 3 days b 4 ur period is due 2 get a better answer. and really what symptoms can u b having this early other than on period and sore b***s? just relax and wait til its time.

Not even half the women who will take a hpt 5 days before a period get a positive.

The longer you wait the more accurate the test will be.

If you want to test before a missed period then try testing 2-3days before using first morning urine and a early detection test like First Response Early Result.

There isn't a "right" answer because everybody is different.. I'm 2 days late and still gettin BFN's but I'm experiencing quite a few symptoms... wait till you miss a period.... Most ppl get BFP the day after their period........

I took one today 5 days before and it was negative. I could just not be pregnant but I have a feeling I am. We'll see!

You shouldn't take it if you do not want to be disappointed. I would just wait until your period doesn't show for a more accurate result.

it is always better to wait a couple days after your period is due the test will be more accurate
