Is it too soon to move on to a new relationship?

My boyfriend of a little over 4 years and I broke up about a month ago. I had been emotionally detached for over a year before the official break. It was a long distance relationship and had turned into a series of booty calls.... that being said... I have been good friends with this guy, "Bob," for over two years, and for the past year we have been doing a lot of flirting, etc. We really like each other and I know he wants to be more than friends. He has outright told me how he feels about me. I really enjoy spending time with him and last time we were together, before I knew it we were walking with our arms around each other. It just felt so right. I just wonder if it is too soon to move on. I feel that I am completely over my ex boyfriend. I don't miss him at all. Should I follow my heart on this, or should I just wait a while before moving on? Opinions? Thanks.

  1. Go for it...if there are no pains left to deal with from the last relationship then why wait? Not much to really say, sounds like you know what you need right now, and there is no rule to follow about how long you have to wait, only you know. Just make sure that if this guy really likes you like he says that you are positive that your feelings about your last boyfriend are laid to rest. But im gonna guess that they are so have fun with the new BF!

  2. Follow your heart, it knows when you've healed and are ready to move on.
