Is it too soon to test?

I just took a pregnancy test about 20 minutes ago. It came back negative :o( Could it be because I'm not expecting my period until August 7th? Or could it be because my urine is too diluted? I really feel like I could be pregnant. HELP!

The test won't be accurate until the 7th.  You took it too early.

i believe you tested too early. its best to use your first morning urine when testing too because it has the highest amount of hormone in it. if you don't get your period on the 7th then test with your first morning urine that day and maybe try a first response test. that would be a more accurate time to test. good luck to you and i hope you get the results you are looking for!

your morning urine is highly concentrated with the hcg hormone, because it is in your bladder for a long time. you get the best results from urine that has been in your bladder for at least 4 hours, since most of us will not usually hold it that long unless we were asleep it is recommended that you take the test first thing on the first morning of your expected period. i don't know which result you are hoping for, but good luck!!
