Is it tough to put a new canvas top on a convertible?

'98 Pontiac Sunfire. I see the tops are available cheap on ebay, but are they easy to install?

Email the seller and ask them what is involved in putting one on. Some of them might need some sewing done.

Check it, putting on a top is a minimum of 4-6 people. It involves a good deal of measuring and holding the top to check for even distribution of canvas throughout the top when it goes up and comes down. It is best left for pro's but some good research and going to a custom shop that deals with this type of repair or installation will help you a bunch.  There is no charge when you take some time to ask a few questions, most shops I have found will help you for a self-install
