  1. if you play on a hard fairway course, or do spend many hours on a drining range mat. forged clubs will occasionaly , have the lie of iron changed , due to constant pounding . the wedges are the most succeptable to changes . for the cost to adjust , all people who use forged irons should have them checked during the offseason . very cheap. plus swing does change . may need slight adjustment to be 100% custom fit . it is not a mth , not common , but does happen . noticable if one club . becomes difficult to hit . push , pull. lost of distance . or slight gain in distance . worth the 20 dollars to have custom fit . pros have thiers checked after every round .

  2. This is true. Mizuno is forged club it is very soft and will bend over time. If you do play Mizuno irons you should check loft and lie every three months.

  3. I've never heard that before.  I had a set of Mizuno's and that didn't happen with the set I had.  It's a quality equipment in my opinion.

  4. Someone is telling you fairy tales which you are inclined to believe. Do you really think that Mizuno would put out inferior merchandise  where the lie angle and loft would change with use ? Players would desert the plan like a plague.

  5. While I will grant you that my days of playing Forged blades is probably gone and when I played them we did not have all of the fancy technology of today......I have never heard of any forged clubs doing this...though I suppose it is a possibility.   I would think the possibility would be awfully remote.  I would not be inclined to believe that only 1 MFG would have it as a unique situation.

  6. Yes, a forged iron will need to be occasionally checked for loft and lie, especially if you hit balls off a mat often.

  7. In all my years of playing golf, I never heard that "myth" about any club.  And, with a number of professional golfers on tour, and the many club pros who play Mizuno....they would not touch these clubs if that was true.  So...It "ain't!!!"
