okay first of all, you're in the MIDDLE of the OCEAN, where in god's name are you going to get a needle. Secondly, if you do happen to have a needle and you poke yourself, it would really hurt especially with the salty sea water. Thirdly, you would bleed, thus attracting sharks to your blood, then what would be your position? i would just try to ride out the cramp but if you think its easier to poke yourself, who am i to say no?
