No, most belly dancers arent considered to be anything like strippers there. True belly dancing is an artform that takes incredle amounts of skill and many years of practice to perfect, and belly dancers perform at weddings, engagements and even communion partys, so its considered a very classy artform. Of course there are a few that act very promiscuous and do favors for money but 90% of them are very classy ladies and are looked upon in a very classy cultural way.
