  1. She wasn't a virgin.. she had had other relationships before she married prince Charles and so did Sophie Wessex but that is normal.. Sophie was over age 30 when she married the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II.. one can hardly expect her to be a virgin until her mid 30's ....and it never matters if a prince is no longer a ''male virgin'' so why should a modern princess have to be.. in times of Marie Antoinette, Queen of France born 1755 who was executed as a result of the French Revolution.in 1793 at the age of 34...When she spent her wedding night.. with her new husband Louis XVI .. curtains were drawn around their big massive bed.. but someone from the royal household stayed in the room while they consummated their marriage and afterward held the bloodstained white sheet out of the window for all the French public and the Royal members of the family to see that she was indeed a virgin until her wedding night.... Glad to know times have changed and also Royals are allowed to be ''human''....I am sure that Queen Victoria and also Queen Elizabeth II waited until their wedding night.. they are of the old school and it was just not done to enter a marriage not as a virgin but they both married rather young... Queen Elizabeth was just 21 when she married Prince Phillip...and for her he was the man she loved.. it was a love match..  between Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philipp as well as the marriage between Queen Victoria and Prince Albert even though they were cousins...they were in love...which was lucky for them.. The young Royals of today only marry for love...that is why they often marry someone who is not a Royal also but choose someone they meet elsewhere.. such as it happened with Sophie Rhys-Jones who is now the Countess of Wessex and Prince Edward....and their marriage seems to be happy.. happier than that of Prince Charles and Princess Diana ever was.. I believe a lot was also due to the fact that Princess Diana was only 20 when she married Prince Charles and although 12 years of age difference is not really a big deal but it is when one is 20 and the other almost 33..  Later in life it balances itself out.. And Sophie Wessex is 43 and her husband 44.. they are more likely to have more things in common... being of the same age group.. as a 20 year old and a man of 32... xx

  2. I doubt it was medically verified. However, it was highly likely that she was (or at least appeared to be) as it was expected at that time. The same rules would not apply to Charles's brothers as they are not in direct line for the throne. Also I doubt it would be expected of William nowadays either.

  3. No;it's impossible to verify virgninty medically since the hymen can be stetched by exercising, and use of tampons. Diana was put through medical tests that made sure that she was healthy, and perhaps fertile. Her virginity was testified by her relatives who all said that she did not have a significant past.
