It may be true. HRSDC has given most places out west permission to hire people on working visas for jobs such as house keeping and general maintenance due to the lower end jobs needing to be badly filled. You can look on monster.ca or possibly even the Marriot Canada website, to find out if there would be any jobs available to you.
