Why on earth would they do that? It would strictly be against the Food and Drug Administration! If they were in such a predicament their business would be closed  in a blink of an eye! NO, it is not true.  Once there was a big rumor that they added earth worms.  That one was not true either.

yes its true, even with all the lawsuit happy people and cam phone carrying people that eat at mcDonald's they can serve meal worms and are still able to get away with it.  amazing.
