  1. No, at least officially he is not. When his name had popped out

    in the past, the Pak board and fans did not like the idea and

    hence opposed. Hence he did not take the position. But instead

    behind the scenes, he has been giving positive input to pace

    bowlers for long. He did help Pathan since he came on to the

    scene.

    The current bowling coach is Venkatesh Prasad.

  7. No. Venkatesh Prasad is the present Bowling Coach for India.  Wasim Akram has been helping  the Indian Bowlers whenever they approach him for help. Earlier Irfan Pathan has taken his help.  He may be helping Ishant Sharma too at his request
