I've heard this is true in campaigns. It seems especially the case with rumors about Obama.

  1. Apparently, it also has kids on the way.

  2. Unfortunately yes. And what a shame that is. It could be why we keep electing idiots for presidents. Mose people are idiots and believe the nonsense of lies. That must be why Bush was elected for a 2nd term. God help this country.

  3. Gossip tends to be fictitious, and it's easier to just spread the gossip rather than find the truth.  And by the time the truth is uncovered, many, many more people have heard the gossip and passed it along, and aren't necessarily going to believe the truth.

Just another reason political parties are bad and need to be abolished! :)

  4. Truer words were never said....especially in politics.

  5. That was the saying before the internet. Now the lie travels all the way around. Lies hurt both campaigns. The terrible things said about Sarah Palin in the past 24 hours are a good example.
