Is it true about Prof. Oak (Pokemon Gold)?

Is it true about the cheat I heard/saw? That when you sell all your stuffs and lose all your money and talk to some special people for a week (once a day), Prof. Oak will die? Haha, I know it's silly, but...I don't know. I know you would just make fun of me, but I don't care. Anyway, has anyone tried that cheat?

yeah i fell for that its just a scm to try andget u to lose all ur money and items (buy items and then throw them away) luckily i hadnt saved :D
