Yes he did get 100 points but this was before the 3 second violation was a rule.  Wilt would just stand under the basket and score since he was taller than everyone else.  Kobe's 81 points is more amazing to me because it actually took more effort

- The Knicks players were fouling the other Warriors to prevent Wilt from getting the ball. They already given up on winning the game; they are just now trying to prevent Wilt from setting a record at their expense. The Warriors countered that by counter-fouling the Warriors and inbounding to Wilt at the halfcourt.
