  1. I just got back from Italy on Monday.  I went all over and into all different churches and wore flip flops in every single one of them.  I am not sure what the attire requirement is for mass though.

  2. You can wear what ever shoes you want to wear, but if you go to mass then thats different then the preference is closed shoes.

  3. It's not a must, but it's appreciated. it's a matter of respect for religious places. Sandals are perfect. Enjoy your trip!

  4. i,ve worn sandals in churches with no problems.

  5. During summer people wear sandals in Churches, casual or elegant ones (not sporty ones). Just don't wear flipflops. Usually there is a code for dresses (not too short, not too revealing)...it's a question of respect, like there are rules to visit a Mosque in Middle Eastern countries.

  6. parlate l'italiano??

    ciao!!

    ma devi partire in italia?

ma che ore sono li in america??

  7. wear what the h**l u what to wear

  8. Definitely not. You should be covered from shoulders to knees, that's all.

There are even some friars/nuns which wear sandals or go barefoot all year long, even in winter, as a vow.
