  1. Probably, they would be stupid not to wouldn't they?

If they didn't there are those out there who would love to smuggle all kinds of stuff into the UK instead of taking the chance of carrying it coming through customs etc.

If you've ever seen Australia's Border Patrol programme on t.v, then I think they can't be the only ones to do this kind of search. Great programme by the way.

Incidentally I just ordered some hay fever tablets etc from the UK to Spain, I was dubious that they would make it, as, after all they are pills etc and could have been anything so I thought that customs would just dump them. But they did arrive fine, thank goodness as the brand I use can't be bought here, and I've tried others.

  2. YES it is.

  3. absolutely yes...it has to be for security/drug reasons.

  4. I most certainly hope so.

  5. No it is not.

  6. yes that is Wright and nothing wrong with that is it OK if some one send Gan or any thing illegal to the country. i  work for royal mail in London.

  7. No, there would be a backlog to Oz if they did that.

I would guess that a random amount are checked for Customs purposes.
