Is it true everything comes in threes?

Recently I have heard of three deaths of people I knew, so Im hoping the superstition of everything coming in threes is true as I dont want to hear of anymore, but what do u think?

I don't think it's a hard-and-fast rule. When an event happens, people tend to notice and watch for similar events due to the "comes in threes" mentality that we're used to. Once the "rule of three" is satisfied, people tend to stop looking.

False, Everything comes in 2's, 4's, or 6's. You will never find a 3- pair of socks in realistic terms. :P It seems to me that it's bad luck if you look at it; Karma comes in 3's. Basically, what you do to someone will come at you times 3. You will always find the number 3 in some kind of way in a pack of socks or something like that, but to discover the number 3 than; No. The only way that you discover it if something bad happens. Have you ever heard of a 3 leaf clover? Probably no. A pair of 3 socks? Hmmm...mmm...mmm... I don't think so.

It does seem to be the case on about 90% of occasions. When i hear of one death, i usually think, "there will be 2 more soon". Usually bad luck seems to come in threes too, which is really frustrating but i suppose it gets it out the way for a while..
