Failure to pay rent only requires a 3 day notice, after the notice they will go to the court house and file and you will have 5 days to respond or vacate, if you do neither then the owner will go back and file a 24 hour notice and the sheriff will remove you from the premises if you fail to comply, in most states it is legal for the land owner to remove your property after the sheriff serves the final notice and place it at the nearest property line it is then your responsibility to either remove it or lose it.~
