  1. No.  Scoring higher on the ASVAB will open up more jobs to you.  Doing well in A school means you are a good student/soldier.

You get a dream sheet like everyone else.

  2. Hi, First off, if you have a high ASVAB and line scores, you will most likely get the rate/MOS you want and get it guaranteed so long you pass the clearances if any required.

Second, if you do well in A school, you might have the possibility of choosing where you want to be based on and they will consider it more, seeing you have top notch grades so it may influence them to send you where you want. So is it true? Yes and no.

    Good luck!

  3. No. It has no bearing on where you'll be stationed. That being said, the higher your score, the more job opportunities are available to you. In the end, you will be sent wherever your MOS is needed the most.

  4. high score in ASVAB means you have more choice on jobs and the better you do in "A" school, the higher priority you get to choose your location
