I know they never would have been able to do it. But I once was told that after the war the allies uncovered maps etc on how to invade the USA. Did anyone ever hear of this or was it total bullcrap? Anyone have any websites that talk about it?

  1. Yes

  2. Fancifull plans on paper, they didn't have much of a Navy after they lost their one Battleship  and their idiotic leadership led them to defeat,Hitler should've finished Britain before attacking Russia,Japan was supposed to attack Russia instead of the USA

  3. interesting... but i dont know... ill be watching for replys

  4. you might find the blue prints on a britsh rail train, keep your eye out for them thats where most of our secret documents end up

  5. No, n**i Germany's last gasp was to send advanced technology to Japan using a submarine. U234 launched the American Industrial-Military Complex. The n**i High Command realized they had no navy and put off contingency planning until such time that Great Britain would be occupied.

Japan entertained the thought of striking out at Australia.

Japan did launch helium balloons that exploded on the west coast of America. Nobody hurt.

The Germans did have U-boats operating in the Gulf of Mexico. Not a whole lot going on.

But, basically, Hitler found out the same things that Napoleon had experienced ... it takes boats.

  6. I do believe they only landed spies and sabatours and that was all. As both nations would not have the manpower or supply lines to maintain an invading force in such a large country

  7. I believe so. I don't know how far they got. I was in alaska a couple of years ago and saw some of the fortifications the military set up to protect against the Japanese. They were all since tore down, but I think it was a serious threat.  Pearl Harbor really wiped out our naval fleet and if it wasn't for Midway and a couple of other big victories for the US, they might have been able to do it.

  8. Quite possible.   Pearl Harbour suggests that.
