Is it true in akihabara that..?

right now theres no more people dressed up in costumes and fun stuff since the one dude killed random people there a few moths ago?

cuz i wanted to go there to see them but my mom says those kind of people aren't there anymore :( is it really true??

Yes, it's true.

Because of stabbing rampage which took place on June 8th, there is not cos players now.

I guess your mother is just worried about you going there. But maybe she's right. All you'll find there right now would be policemen lining the streets instead of cosplay people. But despite that Akihabara is still a fun place to go to and besides it has now become the safest place in Tokyo as far as that kind of thing thanks to the police.

Another random stabbing happened in Shibuya this weekend. The perpetrator was found to be a woman in her late 70's. It's so horrible and sad. The good thing was no was killed this time.

Pretty much. I'm sure the heat will die down soon and people will resume.

Just that guy went a little... coocoo and killed and injured quite a few people.

Give it time. It's like any other travesty in other counties. The flame will cool and you can go back to original behavior.

But, you don't need a costume to have fun in Akihabara. There are arcades and much anime stuffs!
