Its true.

Biologically, science has discovered that females can " smell" some sort of pheromone that males produce.  IF that scent is from a differing genetic strain.. ie your of germanic blood, and He's of southern italian.. he will be more "attractive"

Why?  its natures way of making sure we dont inbreed to much

As for psychology.  We like people who are different then us.  There has to be a basis of agreement,  something common to both people.  But other then that differences make things interesting and keep people togeather

i dare say they dont attract but also dont say they attract...

in some cases opposites really trigger the other... well in some cases they do not...

well opposite in sense is opposite to likes or dislikes... sometimes when u like the other person or the other person likes u.. they get attracted to ur likes or dislikes which may not be ur likes or dislikes.. so they may attract. it depends from persom to person...

not complete opposites though, but in general yes.

if you are interested in different things thats good because it gives you something to talk about

although if one of you is nice and horrible, there is no-way its going to work.

i went out with my complete opposite but i couldnt stand to be around him after a couple of weeks.

so a healthy balance between opposite and not is good =D
