  1. I never heard that before; I doubt it. But lets see what pops up here. Good observation; but I would like some source.

  2. Totally rubbish. No such thing

  3. I hope not.  I'm left handed, but I'm guessing myth.

  4. It's an old wives tale.  You would think it would be the other way around, because the left hand side is closer to the heart or something.

  5. Personally, I'm not so sure about it as, despite being right handed, hospital is like my second home. I fall sick practically every month..from viral fever to kidney infection to acantamoeba.

  6. People used to think that, but no its not true.  There was a study done sometime in the 80s where they asked people about their recently deceased relatives, and whether they were left- or right- handed. They came out with the result that you suggested; the average lifespan of a left-handed person was nine years less.  But since, their findings have been disproven time and time again.

  7. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

i got told by a profecional doctor that left handed pple are smarter. HAHA :d so if i would swicj right now i would add9 years to my life ?? haha that would be awsome

  8. Oh, did you see that question "Tell me something I don't know"? I thought that was weird. I think it's just on average, and since there are so few lefties, the average life span wouldn't be that accurate. Or, it could be plain old B.S.!

  9. I would say no, because a person's dominant hand can't dictate the course of a person's life, or his health. Also, it is the way a person lives that effects his life, so the dominant hand should have nothing to do with a person's llifetime.

  10. It's an average, and as there are less left handed people their average wouldn't be quite as accurate.

Also, left handed people have a higher chance of having accidents as most things are designed for right handed people

    :)

  11. i don't think so, I think the only reason they would say that is because that most utentials are used for right handed people and the lefties have a greater chance of having accidents

  12. I doubt it.  It's pretty pointless.  I heard that back in the old days that people considered left-handed people a sign of the devil.   I'm just guessing that they wanted people to be right handed.

What if you're ambidextrous?  I'm originally left-handed, but now I can write with my right hand too.
