NO, Suicide is a human thing.

It's not the Whisky, it's the alcohol in the Whisky that irritates the animal.  They are not biting themselves, or committing suicide.  They are only "acting" like this because the alcohol burns and irritates them and goes into their breathing pores which causes them to suffocate.

Scorpions are wonderful animals and benefit our world a great deal.  They help to keep it healthy and strong by keeping the "ground insect" populations under control.  If it weren't for Scorpions we'd be overrun by crickets, cockroaches, spiders, ground beetles, and many others.
