  1. The Blue Effect: The time it takes a pizza delivery person to deliver a pizza is inversely proportional to the number of police cars patrolling the route taken by the driver.

Corollary to the Blue Effect: A pizza delivery person will always deliver a pizza faster than the average police response time.

Note that these formulas can only apply to delivered pizza. Frozen pizza, homemade pizza, and take-out pizza are forms of pizza that may not subscribe to these natural laws.

  2. No that goes for just about any where

  3. since there are many pizza places in a small area and most ambulances are staff by volunteers, it would seem accurate that it would be faster to get a pizza since there are tons of people working there versus none at an ambulance.

  4. LOL.

It seems 100% true unless someone has already died.

I have had many problems with police and ambulances showing up late. It is ashame when you could take someone to the hospital and come back, or put handcuffs on a criminal and still wait 45 minutes and no one is there yet.

  5. Also in Wales, takes half an hour for an ambulance and 10 mins for the take away.

  6. i once called an ambulance..i decided to eat while i was waiting so i ordered a large pizza...funny..the ambulance delivered the pizza...
