There are some rumors that 360 is going down. Is that really true or only rumorology?

Why does it still have so many bugs and glitches? It can be pretty annoying.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

  1. The way Yahoo works is in much the same fashion as the elderly having intercourse.  If going by recent history is any indicator of what to expect, look no further than the lumbering transformation of Yahoo Photos to Flickr.  That was announced about a year ago and was only supposed to take about a month or so.  It ended up taking far longer with little to no information provided during the interim.  What's going on with 360 is even worse.  They made a cryptic announcement back in October of last year that they were shutting it down for something called MASH, which doesn't even have a blog feature, yet does contain a retarded virtual pet feature which serves no useful purpose.  Anyway, I was led to believe 360 would be history at the start of this year.  Looks alive and well and we're almost in May.  The sad truth is I doubt even Yahoo has a freaking clue as to what they're doing half the time.  So, they refuse to fix the bugs and glitches currently and yet they've done NOTHING as far as bringing out this new platform, be it MASH or something else.  Little surprise their company is on the verge of being gobbled up by Microsoft.

  2. Yes yahoo is closing 360 or rather merging with mash and some changes are expected, and probably under a new name.

  3. Can you say HOSTILE acquisition?

FYI....if some of your 360 friends are wondering about the stability (or lack of) their 360 pages..

Yahoo announced that they closed the 360 service down. So basically, the thing is running on cyber leftovers.

And, today is the BIG day for Yahoo or Microsoft (whatever side you're on).

If Yahoo's board doesn't agree to a proposed sale by Microsoft today, Microsoft has threatened to replace the 10 Yahoo directors in an attempt to complete the deal.

I've noticed all day that I'll post something in a contacts comment box...then it vanishes.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all ends...

Yahoo really shouldn't have said they were closing...poor choice of words I guess. Maybe "hostile takeover" or "merging with another service" would have been better.

I'm sure there's more info regarding this subject all over the net.
