Is it true that Arsenal might signe Stephen Appiah?

I think he is a great player and could fill Flamini's spot perfectly. He can defend well and is great when he attacks.

i think this story is very feasable, he would give arsenal another dimesion in midfield. He is captain of ghana and captained fenebarche on occasions so his wealth of experience would only be a good thing to arsenals young midfield. although he was released by fenebarche for his injury problems i don't see that as a problem. look at amuary bishoff he was out over a year before arsenal signed him. I can see Stephen Appiah in an arsenal shirt very soon!

Although he is not a Defensive midfielder, he could easily learn to play that role. Arsene has been interested in him for ages though, but still hasn't made a move.

But he would certainly be worth it as a free agent!

EDIT: LDI, Appiah is a free agent and can therefore join at anytime.
