I can't remember where I heard it from, but somewhere I read that "cell phones" are a cause of the bees disappearing? Anyone know if this is true or not??

  1. It's been brought to my attention that the possible destruction of killer bees, which is the stronger of the species, makes the entire species weaker and more vulnerable.

    Thus, leading to their demise.

  2. I read this on the yahoo AP. Not sure if there's really enough study to support this admitted 'theory'. I wouldn't worry about it.

If you're really worried, plant more flowers.

  3. I don't think anybody has found a confirmed cause yet. Everything's just a theory. I don't know about the plausibility of the electromagnetism theory, but I guess the people who published it had their reasons to. Maybe it disturbs the bee's sense of orientation and it cannot find the way back to its hive or something.

  4. too think about it i haven't been seeing as much bees as i have from previous years....awkward ????

  5. Bees?

    Really

    i love bees

Why would mobile phones/cell phones make them extinct?

    now i'm sad

    :(

  6. It was a conjecture picked up and hyped by the popular press.

Kind of an "a follows b therefore a caused b" type of logic.

  7. i heard this too from a teacher but idk if it is true. I hope not. and its not all bees disapearing it is the ones that people are raising for honey and they are dying but the cause is unknown.
