Is it true that Bordeaux is a very boring?

..is a very boring city.

You can spend 2-3 days to see the city and it will be ...nice, but no more. But, if you have time do a trip, even a day one to Biarritz. No chance to be boring....

I was there about ten years ago and enjoyed it, but my situation was probably different from yours: I was born in France and lived there for a few years as a kid, and being back there was an emotional experience for me; I'd have been happy to visit any city in France at that point. However I think that the main attraction in that area is not so much the city itself, but rather the vineyards in the countryside, and certain relatively nearby beaches (Arcachon is one of the most famous).
