yeah when i got my belly button pierced she told me to wash it with that in the shower instead of normal soap because its a disinfectant

Regular Dial soap isn't that different from other soaps. Dial antibacterial soap is a disinfectant, but only for skin - it's not useful for disinfecting other things. (Also, unless you are under doctor's orders to use it because you have a skin infection or something, you shouldn't use antibacterial soap - it also kills off the good bacteria that help to keep you healthy.)
