  1. Not at all.. Article 75 of the Egyptian Constitution establishes the requirements one must meet in order to become President. The President of the Republic should be an Egyptian born to Egyptian parents and enjoy civil and political rights. His age must not be less than 40 Gregorian years.

So the answer to your question is a resounding No.. All presidents of Egypt are not only Born Egyptians but must have Egyptian parents also.

  2. You're out of date.

Yes up to 1952 - maybe.

    331-30 Macedonian Greeks

30 BC-641 AD Romans and Byzantines

    641-1517 Various Arabs, Kurds, Turks

    1517-1798 Ottoman Empire

1800-1952 a mixture of Ottoman Suzerainty (-1914), Albanian Monarchy (-1952) and British Practical administration (1882-1922).  In fact the originally Abanian royal house had been pretty much Egyptianised by 1952.

  3. Until the creation of the current republic, I believe that was true. The latter pharoahs after Alexander the Great were of Greek descent from his general, Ptolemy. Then the Romans took over, then the various Moslem empires culminating in the Ottoman Empire, then the French, then the British until after WWII and independence, I think, in the 1950s. Hope that's right and that it helps.

  4. I think there was the Romans when they invaded Egypt which was the first (one of the first) civilazations
