  1. There isn't any reliable answer to the question of his brain being 'hyper-advanced' as, first, you don't specify what you are comparing it to; and second, during his most productive eras, there wasn't any method of mapping brain function to speak of. PET scanning and positron resonance scanning was barely a thought in someone else's brain at that point.

His brain was not of a size out of the range of normal for human beings (whether bright or not) and how it functioned seemed to be pretty much within the range of human normal, as well.

Neither his head size or his brain size are particularly significant in intellectual capabilities. There are people who are none too bright with large brains, and people who are very bright indeed who have smaller brains. Brain size seems irrelevant in intelligence measures.

As well, since it is still very early days with regard to mapping brain activity and correlating that with function and intelligence, as well as understanding the gifted and how their brains actually work, even if some part of his brain functioned differently from most other people's, we don't have enough information to know if that is relevant or important.

  2. yeah. a big head doesn't mean smarter. if your brain is abnormaly large it comes along with lots of mental problems. kim peek (rain man) had an abnormally large brain and he has a disability.

  3. Yes, his brain was smaller than average (as I've heard).

  4. Yes i heard that also that his brain was 1/2 the size of the average man today
