Is it true that French women don't wear makeup?

I've heard that they go for the "natural beauty" look and don't put on makeup. Is it really true?? I'm going to Paris and I don't like putting on makeup too!

I don't know about makeup but I hear that a lot of them don't shave there arm pits so please take a razor  and use it

I am French and those are all myths! Yes we shave thanks! And of course we were makeup. The natural beauty thing is a myth created by the Americans!

I have been to Paris many times, and I am certain that those comments about French women (e.g. do not share, do not wear makeup) are absolutely not true, and they were spread by those who have never been to Paris. Natural beauty is a wonderful thought, but a little help from makeup never hurts.

they don't shave their armpits, they don't shave their armpits, they don't shave their armpits...

is it dirty not to shave? can't you have other obsessions? in this country women do what they want, I'm glad to live in a country where no one cares if other women shave their armpits!........

many French women do wear makeup, but maybe it's more natural than American or Russian ones.

Hi,  I am living in Paris when I don't live in NYC.That is certain : those comments about French women are not true. Natural beauty in France is on the beach, but in Paris or in every town in France, women wear makeup, the french woman is very pretty, if you are walking in the streets, you can see many many perfumes shops, beauty institutes, open your eyes and you will be able to think that I say to you is true. The person who said that is never came in France.
