Is it true that Garfield (the comic strip) is being cancelled?

Sad if it's true, but honestly here (I'm an old-timer) I don't think it's been nearly as good once Davis put Garfield on two feet.  I used to have the collections, up through about book 10, I think, and they were LOL funny.  It's been more pleasant smile since.

Although I do like that Jon is finally dating Liz!

how could it get cancelled..it's been syndicated in a alot of newspapers...maybe the artist is retiring or it's being dropped from your local paper...but somewhere in the

USA or the world..Garfield will be printed...it's too big..too much mechandise and money tied into it.
