Is it true that Gilles de Rais's homoxeual and he is joan of arc's boyfriend?

Gilles De Rais is one of greatest helmet that Charles VII sent him, the Duke of Alençon and la heir to joining Joan of arc's army.

Is it true that he's bisexual and got persecuted because of abused the boys? or this is not true? also I've read in some book said he love joan of arc very much because of her tomboy look? and he even asked her to marry him and infact joan also love him but she did deny him cuz she'd like to finish the task - to get ride off the english armies out of Burgundie?

Gilles de Rais is famous for two things- he was an excellent military commander who repeatedly trashed the English in a time when the English were the dominant military force in the world (as we knew it)

He is also famous for multiple rapes and murders of boys. In our "politically correct" world puting a label on him would most likely mean a "hate crime"- and I know, logic has nothing to do with it.

He knew Joan of Arc, cooperated with her and was one of her most reliable allies both in batle and in court politics. Nothing is known of their personal relationship- except that Joan was a virgin when captured by the English.

Gilles was executed in public for his crimes- but only AFTER the war with England has been won. Seems like his military skills counted far higher than his sexual crimes

Joan of Arc would have known him as one of her subordinate commanders however she did not know him well and had little direct contact with him.

Gilles de Rais was not Joan of Arc's boyfriend.  She did not have any boyfriends, she had no romantic entanglements in her short life.

There is no evidence  that Gilles de Rais asked Joan of Arc to marry him.  He was accused of being a child molestor and eventually executed.
