  1. But like everything else Halliburton does, they screwed it up! accidently poured a ton of LSD in it!!!

  2. That's the other problem with this war.

Contractors are making a mint!  And from what I understand, their services are substandard.  (grumbles)

  3. Hmmm... I wonder if they also supplied the Kool-Aid to Jim Jones? (shudder)

    ((((((MY ZILLA))))))

  4. My favorite part, oh there were so many, but when McSame said a line that they support the culture of life and his VERY NEXT POINT was that they support government staying out of the lives of their citizens.

Are they so stupid that they don't get this stuff or do they just think all of the sheeple are stupid?

  5. Yes.

There's really nothing else to say, but hey, I'm a bitter traditional conservative so I will say some more :P

The GOP has abandoned all of the traditional conservative values to pander to the religious reich to gain the unanimous support of the evangelical/fundamentalists which dutifully vote however they're told and very nearly worship cardboard cutouts of Bush because he's a rubber stamper for their policies.

They're no longer for fiscal conservation (although they claim to be, look at the record), they're no longer for smaller government, they're no longer civil liberties and constitutional conservatism (including separation of church and state), they no longer favor state rights over federal rights, etc, etc, etc. They've sold out completely and become neo-conservatives.

It's disgusting and sickens me. I'm afraid to call myself conservative these days because there are so few good examples of conservatives and I certainly don't want anyone to think I support the current bunch of idiots.

If I were forced to vote for only a democrat or republican current I'd have to vote for the democrat, because both are going to put us in debt, but at least the democrat will return something in the form of social programs. The republicans will only return more of our soldiers in body bags and increasing oil prices.

I'm sickened by both parties.  Just thankful I can do a write in.
