Is it true that Italian soldiers were poor fighters in World War I because they were pacifists and had no stomach for war or simply wanted to get back to their normal way of life?

  1. Should I remind to you that the end of WW I is due to the final victory of Italian troops on Austro-Hungaran army at Vittorio Veneto? And should I also remind that in occasion of that battle, while Austrians took big reinforcemnts from Germany, Italians fought almost without any help from the allied?Only 3 french an 2 english divisions on 51 Italian.It was thanks to the Italians the Austian-hungarian empire had fallen forever,so next time, read more books and watch less (american) movies.
