Is it true that James Toney wants to fight in the UFC?

I saw an interview with James Toney and he stated that he wants to do MMA. He stated that 99% of boxers would get thier *** kicked in the UFC. But he said he is one of the 1% boxers that can last in the UFC. I dont think he can beat the likes of Antonio Rodrigo Nogieura nor do i think he can beat Brock Lesnar. I would like to see how a boxer of the level of James Toney would do in the UFC. I think he stands no chance of becoming champion in the UFC. He can maybe beat the likes of old, crappy fighters like Colin Robinson but when it comes up to the Coutures and the Minotauros he stand 0% chance of victory.

A prime boxer can knock out a prime UFC fighter easily. The reason some boxers lost in MMA is that they're either past it (Ray Mercer) or weren't that good in the first place.

I don't know why he'd want to go into UFC at this stage in his career. He's still rated and can make better money boxing - unless he thinks he can become a champion in UFC.

didnt hear anything about it.. if he wants to then he can TO TEACH AN OLD DOG NEW TRICKS lmao FOOL UFC IS ALL WRESTLING AND SOME KICKS.. 95 percent of the fighters refuse to move there head so its gonna to be a turkey shoot for  james toney THATS WHY I THINK HE SAID THAT 95 PERCENT OF THEM WOULD GET THERE *** KICKED IN IT SO HE CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. look at chuck liddel and rampage them to  rarely wrestle unless that have to they block strikes and knock people the **** out.

I would like to see how James Toney defends against a kickboxer or wrestler.  James Toney vs Tim Silvia or Kimbo Slice could be entertaining for the wrong reasons.

If he take the time to learn take down defense then he can make it in the UFC. Chuck Liddell never submit anyone, nor does he like to go to the ground, yet he was champion.
