  1. It replaces electrolytes and sugars that you lose with vomiting etc and therefore it helps an upset tummy in that way. It also contains sugar which can help give the energy needed to recover, however, the best way to help an upset tummy is to eat a little bit of what you feel like and see if it stays down (generally as a rule dairy is best avoided).

  2. no

  3. Lucozade was originally a medinical drink, it does give a refreshing revitalization and settles suprisingly well. It's more of an easy source of energy.

The sports drink image came from a masterstroke from their marketing board and in this priostine but empty market sales timesd by 100s.

  4. I drink orange as a sports drink but always drink original when im unwell

Just something I was brought up with, the taste to me is reassuring when im ill

  5. As a child, when I was ill, ('flu, measles etc.) my mother gave me Lucozade. I hated the stuff. Here in Switzerland, even doctors recommend small sips of ice cold Coca Cola for stomach upsets. The very idea of those sort of drinks makes me want to throw up, even when I'm not sick!

  6. no.true it gives you a little more energy to help you deal with illness but short them there is to much gas in it which could make you upset tummy worse and give a blowted feeling try dirolite powders instead they replace the natural salts and vitamins which your body needs you just mix with water so no gases

  7. i heared of it but i would stick to water instead just to be on the safe side

  8. yes, Lucozade gives you back your energy and also it helps your stomach acid to break down the food so that you don't vomit
