  1. Virtually every item sold at McD's has a list of the ingredients in the literature that is on the side of the front counter. Have you ever noticed those flyers on the wall by the counter? Look it up in there and if there isn't anything in that literature, you can ask to talk to a manager, they will know. The management staff is pretty well educated about their product.

  2. No way

I work at McDonalds and I often have to fill the machine up and I can asure you that it contains no preservatives, animal fats and other things people seem to say about it.

But if you're not sure then why not get an apple pie or milkshake instead ♥

  3. no, you're thinking of the frosty at wendy's

  4. Virtually all ice cream apart from Ben and Jerry's (which is Kosher) has pork fat in it. It's used as a flavour enhancer and thickener. Haagen Dazs has loads in it - look in the ingredients.

  5. no its delicious  ; )

  15. They've been know to put beef fat in their fries so I wouldnt doubt it!

  16. Here's the list of ingredients - and, yes, there could be!

Vanilla Reduced Fat Ice Cream:   Whole milk, sucrose, cream, nonfat milk solids, corn syrup solids, mono- and diglycerides, guar gum, imitation vanilla flavor, carrageenan, cellulose gum, vitamin A.

    --

    - guar gum is made from beans, and is a thickener

    - carrageenan is made from red seaweed and is a thickener and stabilizer

    - cellulose gum is based on natural cellulose strains such as the lints from the cotton seed. It  adds mouthfeel and texture, stabilizes proteins and helps keep moisture

** Mono- and diacylglycerols are common food additives used to blend together certain ingredients, such as oil and water, which would not otherwise blend well.

The commercial source may be either animal (cow- or hog-derived) or vegetable, derived primarily from soy bean and canola oil. They may also be synthetically produced. They are often found in bakery products, beverages, ice cream, chewing gum, shortening, whipped toppings, margarine, and confections.

SO, it all depends upon their source of these mono and diglycerides.

THANKS to google, and lots of time!
