he's not going to have to because he doesnt have 1000000's of dollars worth in "changes" to get money for

  2. Yes, especially for the middle class and lower income brackets.

  3. First of all: Obama is the one who wants to raise taxes on the working class who actually TRY to get off their *** and do something with their lives. "Obama" will raise taxes so it will help all the people who complain that they have nothing (because they do nothing) so, they will have something...

  4. Check your history. The biggest tax increases this country has ever seen came at the hands of the Democrats. Look at some of the states under democratic control who has the highest taxes

  5. yes but don't worry he wont win

  6. Yes and no. Yes if you're poor or middle class. No if you're rich. Somebody has to pay for Bush's war and it can't be the people that are making huge profits from it.

  7. It would depend on the economy.

Bush 1 raised taxes and reduced spending because we had begun moving from a mild recession into a period of economic stability.

Bush 2 increased spending and reduced taxes, the way FDR did, because Clinton left the nation in a recession.

PS: Only Congress can raise taxes is true, the President lobbies for or against taxes and spending.

  8. YES.

I'm SO freakin' tired of these morons (see answers above mine) who REFUSE to believe the truth.

    And here it is:

The McCain tax plan would make the tax system more regressive, providing relatively little tax relief to those at the bottom of the income scale while providing huge tax cuts to households at the very top of the income distribution. Obama would provide modest tax cuts to low- and moderate-income people while imposing stiff tax hikes on the very wealthy. McCain would cut taxes a bit for the working-class and a lot for the rich.

Know the facts! Know the truth! And unless you're making more than $250K annually, you can STOP saying that Obama's going to raise your taxes.

After all, McCain is the one who thinks that being "rich" starts at $5 million a year.  Give me a break!  How out of touch can you be.  And why are all of your working class stiffs voting for him?  What's up with that?

  9. Taxes will increase  because the Bush tax cuts will expire and he can not prevent it unless he can convince the democratic Congress to act which is unlikely.  He is pretending that he can,  but since he voted against them I doubt he really wants to.

  10. McCain said he doesn't want to raise anyone's taxes.  What he means is he'll raise everyone's taxes.  Republicans are against tax hikes.  Except when their for it.

  11. The President cannot raise taxes; only congress can.  So if you're afraid of that, you should vote for him so that he'll have less control over taxes.

  12. This senile, brain damaged warmongering old wind passer and incompetent degenerate most certainly will raise taxes for poor and middle class Americans.

  13. That would be Obama, try again.
