  1. no, not at all.  saturn is and always has been part of gm.

however, gm now uses the saturn brand to sell cars from made in europe.

for example, the 2008 saturn astra is just a rebadged version of the opel / vauxhall astra sold in europe.

  2. GM owns Saturn.  Many new Saturns are just rebadged Opels which is also a GM brand.

Smart - If GM was going to sell or shut down Saturn they wouldn't keep giving them new models.  The sales have improved too.  Its the same thing they did to rebuild Cadillac and Pontiac.

  3. where are you getting this? how can a company sell something if its not theirs? gm owns saturn, so to think another company could sell it is crazy

  4. GM is seriously thinking of selling off the Saturn Brand. They have already killed off Oldsmobile and they are looking for a buyer for the Hummer line too.

If this keeps up all that will be left of GM is the Chevrolet and Cadillac lines.
