Is it true that Sprite and Club Soda aren't technically pop/soda?

  2. Pop, simply refers to carbonated liquid. It 'pops' with lots of bubbles.

    All sodas, including Sprite and club soda, are by definition a form of soda. Soda Pop, usually refers to sweet sodas, of which there are many brands.  

  3. Not exactly --

    Sprite is technically a soda-pop.  

    Club Soda is just carbonated water, no sugar.

    Think of Sprite as flavored tonic water.  Tonic water has sugar, like Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper etc..

  4. Sprite is lemon lime soda and Club soda is just carbonated water.
