Is it true that Thomas Jefferson and John Adams both died on the same day?

Did they both die on July 4th? Isn't that a really odd coincidence if it's true? Both of them caring so much about the Declaration of Independence and both dying on July 4th.

It's true and one of those famous coincidences.  They died on the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence that they co-wrote, along with Dr. Franklin.
