Someone said that it could be as much as 400 bucks a month or more. Someone said maybe 220. I find 220 not that expensive until someone said 400 and I flipped, lol

I'm 16 btw.

  1. Could be......get a junker car for your first year or two and **drive without any tickets or accidents*** and you will find that your insurance risk to be much lower making your payments much lower.

OK....A muscle car may be "COOL", but not cool on the wallet (gas isn't cheap either) so, take the first two years and get a restore car......that way you have something to work towards and not have to pay the insurance costs.

  2. Insurance is not gonna come cheap on a Mustang if you are 16 years old. Sorry to say but many kids who have Mustangs have ruined them from doing stupid things, and so that car has pretty much been marked as a high risk car for age range. My 16 year old bro just joined on our car insurance and it went up like 40%, and he just has a Civic coupe, not even the SI. Age is a big factor!

  3. Since you are so young, and a new driver, the insurance could be that much.  Insurance will also depend on where you live.

The best and most reliable way to find out is to simply get an online insurance quote.  This will compare all companies in your area and find the lowest price.  You can get a free online quote at http://www.auto-insurance-knowledge.com/...

  4. Hopefully more

  5. $400 easily, maybe more. Always price it before you buy it.

  6. For your age, yes it is possible.

My nephew (19) found out that for a 2005 Civic si (when new) was going to cost about $4000 per year.  That's $333 per month.

That is for a CIVIC !!

    Good Luck...
