  1. yep it basicaly is so loud that its able to echo of the mountains, and then the mountain vibrates a little, the snow falls... yeah

  2. Absolutely.

Under the right conditions, a snow pack can build up a large amount of potential energy that can be triggered by a person or animal walking, wind, or even a loud noise.

  3. Yes, it is true. If you are in an area with a high risk of snow avalanches (i.e., sloped terrain with a thick, recently fallen snow layer on the slopes), it is advisable not to make any loud noises, as avalanches can be extremely dangerous. The sound of an explosion such as a gunshot is an especially good avalanche trigger, and in fact sometimes sound is even used to deliberately cause avalanches in unoccupied areas in order to reduce the avalanche risk later on when there are people around.

  4. If its strong enough to make the snow move.

  5. Absolutely. The vibration from the noise is what triggers avalanches, not the sound it self. If you got out there and just yell at the top of your lungs, nothing will happen, but if there is some vibration in the noise, as in thunder for instance, then yeah, it would trigger the avalanche
