Is it true that a person with both MD and MPH makes more money than a MD alone?

  1. I doubt it.  Having more than one graduate degree does not guarentee you more money, especially if you are an MD.


  2. No, probably less.  MD/MPH people are more likely to work in academic settings, or for the government, neither of which pay particularly well.

    Insurance companies don't care how many letters are after your name, as long as you are providing services that you are legally permitted to provide, and that's who pays in the US.
