  1. Yes.  I'm pregnant now, and the 1st test I took was the day I should have started my period, and it was negative.  I took another test 4 of 5 days later, and it was positive.  If you don't know, pregnancy is counted from the 1st day of your last period.  Not your conception date, since that can't really be an accurate estimate.

    Are you late?

Are you experiencing cramps, but your period is not starting?

I was cramping really bad like my period was about to start, and since I had the negative pregnancy test result I really thought my period was about to start.  Little did I know when you're pregnant the 1st month you cramp like you're on your period, but your period never comes.

    Hope this helps.

  2. With my first pregnancy, I had a positive result on the first day of my missed period. With my second pregnancy, I got 2 negative results when I tested before the day of my missed period (being too impatient at the time)! Then waited for the day of my missed period and got the positive result.
